Currently wear wrangler but they get hot at shite while at work. Any recommendations for a type of jeans to stay cooler in?

You working outside?

It's 100+, you can be wearing a speedo and still going to be hot as hell.

I bring a change of clothes but I sweat gallons.

When I was in college, working summers in construction, wearing jeans never bothered me. I could sweat all day in them to the point of being soaking wet and I’d shrug it off.

Nowadays I can barely wear jeans at all, even in winter.

Wish I had the answer for you, OP. I’d love to find jeans that are comfortable year round.

You are like my younger brother. I can work all day in jeans, every time we go to work on the lease he comments how I am crazy for wearing jeans.

I always liked the Wrangler Advanced Comfort. Now, switch to some dickies scrub bottoms. Even carhartt makes a scrub pant. So much lighter.

American Eagle stretch jeans, they are thinner and a lot cooler. They don’t bind your waist when sweating either.

Does it have to be jeans or just pants? I'd get something light and breathable, maybe something from Kuhl or DU/ER.

Skateboarding jeans. They're made for people who are jumping around and doing all kinds of athletic stuff outside, all day.

CCS is the cheap brand, but if you go to their site you can find other brands that are a little better. I have a pair of CCS jeans that I do literally everything in that are about 6 year old.

Not jeans but more like moisture wicking khakis. I like the Sams Club Denali pants.

So here’s what I do. I buy 3 pair of Mountain Khakis in the fall and wear them all fall winter and spring. They progressively wear out as they get worn 2 or 3 times a week. Once they get to summer, they’re well broken in and and not as hot. Currently have a hole in the crotch on two pair. Will hopefully make it through harvest and start over again.

Works the same, but not as well, with jeans. Jeans are a little tougher than the mountain khakis I buy.

Carhartt twill work pants. I rarely wear jeans anymore. These are lighter and more flexible.

I’m a pretty big fan of the Duluth fire hose pants.

I’m not sure what they are called, but I buy the thin “breathable” Columbia khaki pants from Academy. I find them to be a little more comfortable than blue jeans.

Why are you wearing jeans. They are the hottest fabric known to man. Check out some microfiber pants somewhere.
