The Mexican Gulf fishing Co. has some good captains. Voodoo Charters seems to be doing well on alot of their trips. I havent fished with any of those guys first hand, but i know they catch fish.

No finer amenities than Saltgrass outdoors and excellent offshore fishing available.

Another excellent option is Journey south with Eric and Mo Newman.

Voodoo, Mexican gulf, home run, Paradise outfitters and intensity offshore. Can't go wrong with any of the above, but you won't get enclosed cabin.

The majority run CC monohull or cats.

Paradise outfitters

Going with them in June. It should be a good time. We also got on some nice sized fish with Voodoo a few years back.

Hope you didn't put a deposit down with these two because they could be busy over the next few years off the water.

Could be a problem, most charters only have a 6 pack license

Just read the entire article. Wow that's pretty dumb on Eric and Mo's part.

It sure doesn't paint them in a good light. Hopefully there is more to the story than what is published and they look better than it sounds but it doesn't sound good.

Knew Eric when he was working for Blue Runner Beans and then LWFD. Sad to see those articles but pretty egregious and shady and they are in for a lot of legal trouble. Fished a bachelor part last October and stayed at their camp. Makes sense now to see all that gear and yeti equipment hanging around brand new.... a lot of it.

That's not good at all. I'd say they are facing jail, but this is Louisiana.
