It isn't that hard to conceal. There are easier guns to conceal, but the 19 is certainly doable.

Kahr CM9 is my carry gun. Carry it in a pocket holster in front right pants pocket and it just disappears. Very easy to carry. Single stack 9mm, 7 shot, 16 oz unloaded, $450 OTD at Bass Pro Shops. 2 extra mags in my left front pocket and I am good to go.

Im 5'10 about 150. Not a very big person, I use a milt sparks VM2 holster and a Wilderness belt. Normally I wear t shirts and jeans. Ive never had a problem.

I like them, but for me personally it's kind of an in between size. If I'm gonna carry concealed I would want something more compact. If it's gonna be a truck gun/target shoot/open carry type deal, I'd want the full size, mostly just for capacity and I have big hands. Just personal preference though, they are fine guns to shoot.

They are, but so are the G26's and they are a little smaller. With the mag extension, mine holds 11 rounds and I have a place for my pinky. The thing is... you can stick any Glock 9mm mag in it you want. So you can have it in your nightstand with a much larger mag (just sticks out the bottom).

I think my next one will be an sp101 3"
Picked up an lcr and an airweight yersterday and theyre so light they dont even feel like guns. Do not want to shoot
Eta: i put 100 rounds through my 6" 50lb blackhawk yesterday and my hand was feeling it toward the end. I dont think i have the kahunas to stuff that airweight full of .357s and start yanking the trigger.

I love my Storm, but I've never shot either of the compact versions.

I'd like to hear more from the guys who carry IWB. What are you usually wearing? Do you tuck your shirt in? Is it comfortable?
Posted on 4/23/12 at 8:42 am to CaptSpaulding
I personally don't carry IWB for comfort reasons. I go with the untucked shirt when I CC (with G19 or G26). Don't really care for ankle holsters unless I just have to for some reason.

Jeans, undershirt (tucked), button down (untucked)
I use the crossbreed IWB holster, amazingly comfortable btw. It allows me to tuck in my undershirt over the gun yet leave my button down untucked.
The crossbreed I have is fitted for my Ruger SR9 but my Glock 22 fits in it just fine too. I also use the safariland horizontal mag holster for my extra mag.

Button up shirt tucked in to slacks or jeans. I carry a G26 in this holster with no issues. Gun holds tight and you tuck your shirt in between holster and pants.

I carry in a Galco Kingtuck when I carry IWB. Very comfortable holster

Everybody is looking for the guy with a jacket on or a loose shirt untucked. Get the holster I linked above but be ready to pull shirt up with left hand as you draw with your right.(Assuming you are right handed)

As far as how I dress for cc, I haven't changed much the clothes I wear, but moreso how I wear them. I do wear shirts untucked when I cc more than I EVER did pre-cc. Now that I've been cc'ing a few years, I don't carry tucked nearly as much as I thought I would.
Personally, I like leather holsters instead of Kydex or leather/Kydex hybrids.
Summertime is mostly cargo shorts and tank tops covered by an unbuttoned/untucked Bass Pro fishing type shirt. A Kel-Tec PF9 is carried in a front pocket holster from LINK or IWB w/ a "Southern Sidekick" from LINK . I may also carry a Kahr CW45 in a "Tuck Clip" from LINK .
During the winter, or anytime I don't mind carrying a little more weight, I add other guns to the rotation, including a 4.25" 1911 in "Lone Wolf-T" from LINK or sometimes a 3.5" 1911 in a Remora holster LINK /. My Remora is surprisingly effective as an IWB, non-tuckable holster. I understand Remora now offers holsters w/ a tuckable feature. During the winter, I wear more sweatshirts and sweaters than I did pre-cc.
Rarely I'll pocket carry a Kel-Tec 380 using a front pocket holster from Woolfe Gun Leather (see above).

I saw a guy in 5.11 pants today. I just smh... He mighta been military bc of out of state plates... But with no major bases around BR I have my doubts.

If I ever get my CC I'm gonna get a keltec PF-9 to carry. I've seen a couple of soft holsters made to stick in your waistband I like for it, I'd either use that or a pocket holster.
Do you find the PF-9 to be a comfortable gun to carry?
