I've got two size large BGE's and both have had ash box fractures due to shoddy materials. What other brands have you guys had decent luck with? Kamodo Joe, Lousiana, Vison ? Or have you went the traeger route ? Just curious …

I’ve had a BGE 10 years now and would buy another one tomorrow if anything happened to it. Zero issues and solid customer service.

I've had the metal Broil King Keg for the last 7/8 years and it was ok. Finally got a Kamado Joe. I got the old Classic for $649.00 assembled and delivered to my back patio.
Lowes in Covington had them for $749.00....applied for and got a Lowes credit card and got $100.00 off the price.
I did a reverse sear on two prime T bones last nite....was awesome!

I have a BGE.
I think vision grills nailed it with a propane slide in kit.
Primo nailed the Oval though. The circle is kind of pain with the large egg. A rack of ribs is almost to long you have to trim them.

I have a Traeger. I love it when it’s not having problems.
If you go wood pellet, go GMG or if you have the money Rec Tec.
Reverse seared a ribeye on the traeger today and it was phenomenal.

I went with a Monolith with the Cyber Q over the holidays. They were on sale and I had a promo code. I've been happy so far. I really wanted the Kamado Joe Big Joe however.

I bought the tailgater, so only $450. It’s about the same size as the Pro 22. The big ones are $800-1000
