I'll be cleaning high precision ceramic hybrid bearings and not engine parts. The bearings run best dry, greaseless and free of debris so cleaning with carb cleaner and drying with compressed air was recommended. I've never had reason to use carb cleaner in the past so are they all pretty much the same?

The best spray I use is Chemtool. I usually soak parts overnight in liquid cleaner (I use seafoam), and then spray them with Chemtool while cleaning. Filter the carb cleaner, and pour back into the bottle.

Liquid seafoam is expensive, so use whatever you want

Most auto parts stores should stock the Chemtool?

Chemtool cleaner in gallon cans. Most auto parts places have it.

I'd call and ask before making the drive, because not all of them have it in stock. They will all have the spray, but might not have the liquid. Make sure not to get it in your eyes. It burns very much

Also, when you soak your stuff, cover it, or the cleaner will evaporate. Should be like $60/gal,but you can filter it and re-use it. Just pour it through a paper towel back into the jug

Is this a one time deal or something you will do often?

Prob weekly for maintenance. I got the Chemtool spray from Pep Boys. Cleaned the bearing well spun it dry and followed with some canned air. Did great job.

The precision bearing inside a Torqbar which is a high end fidget spinner. I used to click pens during conf calls or meetings and it drove people nuts so I picked up one of these. Here's a link to YouTube review of them cause most people have no idea what it is and there's not many of them out in the world yet.

I bought a ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight to clean carbs. Cost was about $65 with coupon. Works real good. I use the hell out of it now carbs, bearings, brake parts, ect. Lots of good reviews on youtube especially with gun and ammo guys.

If you plan to eventually clean other small parts, try a Kendall Ultrasonic Heated Parts Washer. Use a bit of Dawn and ammonia.

Torqbar Review

Thanks for the interesting link.
I find it ironic that a person could make a 28 min long video on a finger spinner/fidget toy. I'd never heard of such a device. Although I found the first few minutes of the video interesting, I couldn't make myself watch the entire thing.

$140 and you have to regular clean and maintain it? How is there not a better option?
