Can’t go wrong with Honda. There are some cheaper options, and to each there own, but if you have a chance to get a Honda that has what you want, in your price range, just grab it and don’t look back IMO

Sure, get one. You can't go wrong with a Honda 4 wheeler.

I will say that I have Kodiak 700 EPS that I use daily and zero issues. I love it. 100% stock. I use it on my land, it's been on Chicken Corners trail in Moab, some dunes and all kinds of trails.

Only if you're going to lift it, put on a snorkel and enter mud bogs. Other than that, I'd pass.

Can Ams are good if you're going to do a lot of mods, otherwise go Japanese.

And screw enriching Mitt Romney by buying Can Am.

Best is pretty subjective. They’re still reliable but not to the extent they were 20 years ago. My opinion, Yamaha is right there with them on reliability with a very comfortable riding suspension and natural feeling transmission. Hondas to me just never seem to be able to find the right gear.

A guy I know around here (his wife and my wife are good friends) had a RZR and a Honda 420cc Rancher. He also bought a lifted, snorkelers 1000cc Renegade XMRs for his 2 step kids to ride in mud bogs.

Now don't get me wrong, for that stuff ok. But outside of deep mud, my stock Kodiak can go anyplace that thing can go and more. And have less maintenance issues.

I have a 700 Grizzly. 1600 miles 10 years old. Only have had to change axles and bearings and the oil seal on the rear drive shaft. Other than oil, filters and tires. Not too bad.

Not really the best if your talking power, ground clearance, speed, coolness, aftermarket mods, highest HP.
But if your looking for most dependable longest lasting and least amount of maintenance then yes they are still the best.

Anyone who says anything is the best without asking what you're using it for isn't to be trusted.

They all break.

Neighbor one has a polaris general he ran out of oil and killed the engine. It went 5000 miles before dying. Is that the bike's fault or the owner?

Neighbor two has a big red 700 he was meticulous about maintenance with but always paw pawed around on it even though I told him the honda 700s need a little rpm to make enough oil pressure to keep the cam intact. It made it 1600 miles before dying. Is that the bike's fault or the owner?

If each owner had had the other's bike, neither would need a new engine.

What are you doing with it?
