anyone ever had problems with the foam on the end of the stock falling apart?

I'm not sure when it happened, I cleaned it at the end of teal season then took it out of my safe (indoors) yesterday and noticed it was just starting to come apart.

edit: stuck to stock

What a douche. Didn't you just have problems with a brand new beretta?

Quick search shows that a few others have had the same problem with the recoil pad coming off in cold weather. May want to give them a call

My recoil pad is in pretty bad shape but not falling apart. They are extremely soft as it is.

I don't do this, that could be your problem.

ok. I meant I cleaned the chamber and barrel but I could have easily used the same towel when wiping down the rest of the gun

Mine is starting to look like shite after 4 seasons but they're cheap, so if I have to replace it I'm not too worried about it.

Call Benelli. Even though they are owned by Beretta (with some of the worst customer service), the Benelli customer service is usually excellent.

I usually deal with Bill Delery. Very nice guy and knowledgeable.

I lost the firing pin spring when I was cleaning my gun. NOBODY online or around town had it in stock. I called Benelli and they sent the part next day air. Also, they sent me a second one, both free of charge.
