it's gone from 0 to 0.

I would love to have some bears...i've got a nephew that would never go hunting again, freeing up a good deer stand.

Just until the novelty wore off. They destroy feeders and everything else in their path. A 250 pound raccoon.

I can see why the state has pulled them off the endangered species list.

I hunt is south Ga and we usually have about 10 to 15 different bears wandering the property. Luckily this year the drought compounded with the clear cutting of our lease, we have not had many sightings. Once they find the corn, they pretty much lay there all day waiting for the feeder to go off again. I walked up on one opening weekend who was running off with our gut bucket. Just had a 350 pound sow killed during the one day bear season we had last weekend on an adjacent property.

We've had them at out lease in Jackson for the last 3/4 years. Never noticed them messing with the feeders.

They are everywhere in Morganza, cemented a pole 4 ft deep in the ground to raise one of the feeders.
