Dude your avi freaks me the hell out

Anyways, I wouldn't call any of them "low priced" but they are cheaper than the top of the line rigs like pathfinder.

I don't know if any of these are regional or not other than xpress.

I would suggest the OP look into an xpress. Aluminum bay boats need a lil more lovin in this thread.

I saw a guy pulling one of those really shallow skiffs with a bigass motor on the back and a poling platform on I10 in BR...I thought he might be lost
I've never seen one of those on the water around here.

I really like the Express, just never seen one up close. I did mention Bluewave fwiw. Did not mean to come off as a boat snob. Also fwiw there are alot of Ranger and Pathfinder boats in the 18k range in central to northern Fl and lower Ga. Nothing wrong to drive for a good deal. I drove to North Carolina for my Grady White

Well I see absolutely no reason to acknowledge anything I have said in this thread anymore

I would definitely be down with spending 18k on a nice used pathfinder. Pathfinder=

I know quite a few people who made a long arse drive for a good deal on a boat. I think AGP went to arky or something last week to pick one up.

Only thing that would make me nervous about it is that maybe they didn't take care of the trailer tires/bearings. I'd hate to get halfway home and have a bearing go out on the trailer.

Not sure if you've priced Skeeters lately but they're not at all in the lower end of the price range. Also the ad's for Frontier claim they're built by, or owned by, a Mr. Kenner, not sure if there's more than one. Looking at a frontier it looks exactly like the older Kenners. You could also look at Clearwater, Nautic Star & Sea Hunt. these three are on the more economical side when buying new.

Ihabit love for the OB common man boats too. I really like the blazer bays. Fish out of one all the time in big lake, my best friends dad keeps it there at their camp. Ive been in some solid 2-3s coming across that lake in a storm and it handled great, pretty dry ride too. He just ordered a new one as a matter of fact and the guy can afford any of the above including blackjack, shearwater, young etc etc....

I fish out of Hydra Sport & Skeeter bay boats the majority of the time, can't go wrong with either of them.

Blazer bay is definitely a great boat, you can save a little money and get the fisherman model instead of the pro model

We have a Blue Wave Pure Bay 2200...it's awesome boat. Your price range includes a lot of nice boats (used), so just get out there and see what you can find. I know there was a Ranger for sale in Houma and there was a nice looking Sea-Pro for sale off of Airline near Prairieville.
