I know the article I listed is outdated. Why would the uncle lie about that though? Obama would live to change the background check system so why not have the FBI come out and say they messed up in order to get that change.

I don't know the answer to that. The reporting on this story has been very superficial; very little of the story has been fully "investigated" beyond the white supremacy/racial side of things.

I don't think we'll see FBI admit THEY messed up. Instead, they'll blame it on "the system" in order to justify more stringent regulations, something Obama would LOVE to see.
