Kevin's done two birds for me. He's really good. My only knock is he's super slow on turnaround

Sharp dude! Very sharp.

Question for the group: How do you keep dust from building up or the feathers from losing that sheen? Just keep it dusted or is there some kind of protectant?

Compressed air in a can is what I use every now and then.

The process they go through before they start putting the skin back on the body is unbelievable. If it can handle a Dawn wash, borax soak, and a wood chip tumbling, I figure a little canned air won't hurt anything to knock the dust off.

He's not worse than David Luke. I dropped a goose off to him in September and a mallard in November and have still yet to get them. Not worried though, his work is worth waiting for.

I dropped my bird off in January, it was ready in late April but I couldn't get over there to pick it up till second week of May....... That's pretty quick turnaround compared to many I've heard from. Also Kevin recommends using a feather duster to keep the dust off the mounted birds, go figure.

Don't get me wrong, I like me some poule deau too. Just have a few duck species on the list ahead of mountin a coot. Have a pair of mallards, pintails, a canvasback, & the grey.

Lookin for a widgeon, the perfect blue and greenwing teal, and will def mount a pair of woodies before i consider a coot.

$300

You can find some for less but most of the well known guys are going to $250-$300 or more these days......supply in demand I suppose.

Nope. Only a 6" Versamax decal.

I've sold a few Coot decals along with shirts tho.

Always wanted to try Birdman. His site is where eye-brows for ideas.

My guy in Raceland is just too good for $185 and a 2.5 month turnaround.

Beautiful mount and takes less space as you add to your mounts , I like the standing posture.
