QAD is the best out there. Been shooting one for a few years and love it

I'm not sure why anyone would even consider a dropaway rest.

You're adding potential for failure to gain an extra 3 fps. Pretty anti-smart IMO

Since you replied to me I'll answer.

Shot the whiskers out of my biscuit, need to replace the rest.

Haven't heard the first horror story out of anyone with a drop away, other than when returning the draw back without releasing an arrow it dropped and made a noise, that problem has been worked out on new designs.

Whiskers in whisker biscuit has to be replaced every so often depending on how much you shoot

Less wear and tear on fletchings.

Increase in accuracy when tuned properly.

Ironic that an engineer would be the one to bring up potential failure on something mechanical.

Hey baw, K.I.S.S.

I don't like em. I don't see any reason to have a mechanical thingy to hold my arrow when there's something simpler to do it.

I used to shoot a whole lot, and the rest I have is 8 years old and so are the fletchings on my arrows. Some of the fletchings have gotten crinkly but it took a while.

I'm with you Downshift, KISS, still shoot the old spring forks with Teflon shrink tubing, performs every shot, never lets me down, quiet, no damage to fletching

Where's the fun in that, if the bow isn't tacticool, it isn't as useful.

All things I listed were a stretch for advantages, but so is the likelihood for mechanical failure on a quality dropaway tuned properly. That's pretty much the equivalent of a hammer not moving on a flintlock when the trigger is pulled.

Or better yet, the release on your hand.

Whisker biscuit is all I've ever used and have no complaints. I've never had an experience with it, but one of my buds swears not to get it wet because it will mess with accuracy. Can anyone back that up?

Trophy ridge revolution, full capture without touching the arrow on release.
