I have a couple of AR15 lowers that are having issues with the safety selector. They are rotating past the fire position. I can't figure out what the problem is. The last picture is of the internals so y'all can see if I put the parts in right.

Fine looking lowers you got there, I would LOVE to mow down a pack of hogs with one of those.

Looking good.

What all is involved with the manufacturing/purchasing of a new MG?

I am an 07 FFL, dealer/manufacturer of firearms, and I pay a SOT yearly to deal in NFA items. If I build an NFA gun/item I file a Form 2 letting the ATF know what I did, unlike the Form 1, for non-licensees, which is asking the ATF's permission to build something.

They allow you to build new MG's for R&D to go after gov contracts correct? Just curious and definitely jealous

Yeah, can the public buy an auto with a form 4?

I thought individuals could only buy full auto weapons that were made prior to the 1986 (or whatever) law.

Yeah it's just like any other gun manufacturer, such as Colt, FN. etc. You can build FA guns but can only sell them to LEO/Military agencies.

Only ones made before May of 1986.
