i hate loppers. I just use a knife and cut everything at a joint. I like not having sharp bone errywhere. And you can use a crap ton smaller cooler

Trim neck up and chunk

A reciprocating saw is cool to cut the skull off to get horns though

You don't cut through them you cut around them and pop the joints. By the time your done cleaning your saw I'll have my deer in the cooler.

We have one at the camp and some people use it. It works extremely well.

It's like a challenge to me to quarter my deer up with only my pocket knife so I never use the sawsall. It's a pain in the arse to clean after.

I ice the hams down and then debone them like in the video. So you have to cut through the pelvis and back to remove and separate the hams.

And you can't cut through the pelvis with a knife.

I use a sawsall with a metal cutting blade to cut off and separate the hams and cut the horns off everything else I cut with a knife in the joints.
