Anyone use a GoLight or other remote controlled spotlight?

Considering mounting one on the t-top of my bay boat.
I'm not a big fan of being on the water in the dark, but it happens occasionally.
GoLight? Better options?
Is a handheld easier to use than a remote controlled one?

Get a 55" curved light bar mounted above the t top. Then a handheld for when you have to turn it off for passing boats.

Unless running in an area with a lot of trees and stumps try to run without lights. Lights make it so much harder to see and once it's on you really can't see. My opinions anyway I much prefer no lifght.

I prefer handheld spotlights, but I'm never in an open bay at night. Normally in canals so I can spotlight the banks to stay in the middle.

Yes, thanks for the feedback guys.
I'm thinking a good handheld for $100 would be smarter than a $300-500 remote controlled one... that I may or may not ever use.
