We have only shot one this year and it was opening day. We hunt rice fields in between Gueydan and Kaplan. They are usually our second most killed duck behind teal. Funny thing is we have killed just as many redheads and more Canvasback.

Anyone else experience this anomaly?

Same up here in the Delta. No pintails, lots of redheads. Curious.
