My back rack on 4 wheeler gets caked with mud and everything in the basket gets covered in mud when things get sloppy in the woods. Was wondering if mud flaps would help. Anyone with experience on brand or size needed for a Honda Rancher? TIA...

Yes they help. Not on a 4 wheeler but I had to install these on my SxS for a little more mud coverage.

Not mine, off google.

Just the stock tires. When it's wet and muddy they kick up mud everywhere. No big deal until I put the rack on back. Now everything gets covered with mud...

if you upgrade your tires a little, to something with a bigger cleat that will solve the issue, better grip and more room between in the tread channels. Like a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 radial or a Moto MTC. You can probably pick up a set cheap on one of the ATV Swap pages, Mud Riders are usually quick to shed stock tires for larger ones and Maxxis Mudders come stock on RZR's and Rangers.

I found one of those plastic carpet covers that go under a work desk. I had cut sections to make flairs and just screwed them over the front and back fenders. Spray painted black once installed.
