Hit or miss, the tide is really flat till Saturday.

That being said, how much room ya'll have?

I fished the picketts and Pelican Isle this morning and caught 75 big trout before 930. The biggest ones came from Pelican.

No wind, calm as shite. Caught on both live and double plastics.

Went inside and caught 5 redfish on the way in.

Should I get live bait or will we be fine with mirrodine/soft plastics?

If fishing at night I would go with the glow minnows or Tsunami type bait.

If you can get live bait wouldn't hurt to bring some. Like I said, we caught the most and the biggest on double soft plastics.

BTW, when we got to the picketts at 645 am there were already 9 boats out there. Couldn't believe there were that many boats out there for a Monday morning. Everyone was catching and by 900 pretty much everyone was gone.

Wow I figured you'd have it to yourself on a Monday morning.

Well, got out there around 630pm and the wind was howling with the weather over Houma/Morgan city yesterday. Got set up and fish finally turned on around 9 after the wind layed down. Had our 75 by 1130 and headed in . About half were 18"+ and the other half 13".

nice haul. I spoke to someone this morning that went to 28 last night and had 125 in the boat by 10 oclock.

Going out there at night and busting them up like that is my most favorite thing to do.

I'm running out of shell beach this afternoon.

Gonna try and snag whatever y'all haven't caught yet.

Nice. We were trying to get set up next to them but the wind was giving both of us hell. Nice guys who offered to share their spot with us. We thought it was a guide but weren't sure.

I actually had 2 sets of friends out there last night...one boat caught 125 and the other one I think they had 2 or 3 limits as well. You probably saw them both.
