I'm getting some Talon grips for my Glock 22 and can't decide if I want the granulated or rubber texture. Any recommendations?

I have the rubber version of the grips on my Kahr CM9 and my FNS9. Both had aggressive factory grips and I don't always wear gloves when I shoot.

The rubber isn't overly sticky but is sticky enough to provide ample traction. I feel I would probably dislike the granulated texture since it would rub me raw when being carried.

I've got them on my Canik TP9SA, the rubber texture. Love it and love the contrast of it on the FDE

I also will add that I've been impressed at how well they've stayed stuck to my carry gun (the Kahr). I haven't seen the slightest hint of them pealing off and I've carried it for about 5 years.

I've had both. For carry 100% rubber. However that grit is $ at the range.

Rubber for carry, sandpaper for everything else IMO.

agreed. if you need grips, I don't think the rubber is grippy enough for regular shooting.

customer service at talon is a+. I bought some grips that ripped, I emailed them, and had a new grip in my mailbox within a few days for free.
