I've also been looking at the undercover flex.... Basically the same thin except it doesn't lay on your back glass when folded up. It also has to quick wing screws that once removed you can easily remove the whole cover. Looks like they're both about the same price.

Undercover flex

That's the one I have. Rhino linings of Baton Rouge off of Siegen Lane gave me the best price.

I believe it was $750 plus $50 for the install last year.

Very minimal, a few drops when going through a car wash but that's about it. Sounds like it's about the same as with the Bak flip.

The one person I know with the flex has had 2 of them and they both leaked, but said the second one wasn't bad enough to worry about get another one.

I like the ease of taking the whole thing out over the Bakflip if you need to put a 4wheeler or something similar in the back.

Haven't you had it less than a week?

...and I'd rather not run into it with a 4wheeler.

The bakflip also comes out with 2 big plastic nuts that you turn by hand. Me and the wife could take mine off in 1 minute.

I must've read every forum and review out there before I got mine. What I came up with was that Bakflip was the premium, and undercover was ok if you wanted to save a little money. I almost bought an undercover until I found out you could call these places and get much better pricing. Also, the way the bakflip folds against the cab is much more stable than the undercover. I fold it up a lot to haul things. There is no way it'll damage my cab, given all the pads it has where it touches the cab. The 2 rods come up and hold it firmly against the cab so wind doesn't move it.

If you can save a little money buying the flex, I still think you'll be happy. But if you can get the bak for the same price, I would go with that.

Thanks for all the info posted.

I ordered the G2 yesterday. Got it for 672 with no tax and free shipping. Saving over 200 bucks rather than buying it locally.

Gonna have to look into this a little more. I hate my toolbox but I carry a lot of shot for work in it in case my contractors forget something (which happens a lot). I'd love to get a cover but dont know what I would do with the stuff in my toolbox.

The answer to your problems. I'm going to get mine right before hunting season. I gotta save up a little spare change.

Bed cover $700
Rubbermade storage boxes $50

Profit.
