Camped there my whole scouting career from tiger cub to Eagle. Awesome place, they are really accommodating. The food is not great but y'all will have fun and the weather should be great!

I will be there too Our pack stays at Indian Head.

Definitely a lesson in patience for the parents as it gets a bit crazy with that many kids running around. I have been out there 6 or 7 times. Really nice property and plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied during the day. Also i was told that we wouldn't be able to drive to the sites this year and will have to walk your gear in with carts.

Bring ear plugs. Last year between the kids being kids and the ATV park across the street having races all nite I slept from 3-6am. My 8 year old slept like a baby all nite though. I was pretty jealous he could fall asleep with all that racquet

Same here.

And yeah that Muddy Joe's place pisses me off to no end. They blare shitty music all hours of the night. I can't imagine how loud it is over there thousands of feet away from our campsite.

If you smell pastalaya that's me in Mohawk. Been recruited to do a 5 gallon for our pack. Gonna suck hauling the burner but it's all for the kids

quote:

Muddy Joe's October 9 at 7:51am · To all our campers, riders, family and friends, As of Friday October 7th The property located at 1260 road 326 Kiln MS, was Sold. Muddy Joe's had a lease/purchase agreement on the property. The land owner with NO NOTICE, NO COMMUNICATION , NO WARNING, NO NOTHING sold the property to someone else. We were served a letter at the front gate that stated the property had been sold and we have 72 hours to vacate the premises. Muddy Joe's LLC is our name, brand, business. NO ONE BOUGHT IT, they purchased the land ONLY, which we were leasing. Muddy Joe's HAS NOT SOLD ANYTHING. It was TAKEN FROM US. THEY CAN NOT TAKE OUR NAME. Greed is a powerful thing. This month made 3 years of Muddy Joe's. I would describe this as if you had your own child taken from you. That park was my baby, everyone who knew me knew that. We started with an abandoned old camp ground and built up a beautiful off road and RV park for families and friends. Words can not describe the feelings and hate that's inside me at this moment. When you put your life, your ALL and every dollar to your name into something for it to just get taken from you in the blink of an eye. The positive I can tell you is the amazing people and the relationships that were made when we opened the park. I appreciate all the love and support we got from everyone who came to Muddy Joe's You all is what made it possible. You can never replace friends and family, they CANT TAKE THAT! I have been up since Friday evening trying to move 3 years worth of our things that was supposed to be out in 3 days. There are no words that can describe how I feel. I will just leave it at that. I did like I have always, thought about my campers first and my first thought was my people with sites. The new takeovers stated to me that they will honor any sites that we previously booked. Thank you for all your support and love shown for Muddy Joe's, I will be forever grateful.... Stacey and Bryan
