Yep. I turkey hunted in the swamp at my place last weekend and could hear the BW teal and a few mallards. This time last year all the mallards were long gone.

We had a ton of mallards 3 wks ago on coast. I guess when people quit feeding the democrats and they have to find their own food they fly to coast. Still have an bunch of ducks on the coast, the SAVs are coming back strong again so they plenty feed.

I'm batting 1000 on 2 days of hunting I have 2 birds
3 hunters killed 2 on Saturday and we went 3 for 3 on Sunday

DeepSouth I think we both live on or near hwy.444, I can meet you around here if you're willing to give it away. As far as going and killing one now goes, I've seen a couple fly over my pond, but not many and my luck I'd get busted. I also don't want to give these long beards any reason to get finicky.

I Will email as soon as I make it home. Can you call them and do you have a good video camera? I have 2 long beards I see every day. I plan on going with my cousin and hopefully getting one opening morning, but after that maybe we can arrange something if I keep seeing some. I'd love to film a few hunts and also I'd love to get one with my bow, maybe we could get a double. Or maybe they will all disappear opening morning.
