Anyone had any success calling hogs with electronic callers?

I researched this extensively on hog hunting and predator hunting forums and general consensus was that it worked very seldom.Several posters said they saw hogs and when they started calling they took off running in opposite direction.It wouldn’t hurt to try though.I tried it several times with feeding hog frenzy and piglet distress calls with no luck.I did kill a boar hog that came to dying rabbit call,I think he was just curious.
