If so, any reports.

Going in 2 weeks and then fishing a tournament at the end of the month.

Just got off it. Didn't bass fish. The grass didn't die again. The perch are moving up.

So there's lots of grass?

Toledo is hard pressed to find grass except for Housen.

Someone must hate fishing, they keep down voting me

Yea. I was going to bass fish some, but the wind got bad about that time, and decided to stick with the perch. I may go again during the week.

Oh, and we saw some schoolies. Maybe the second time I've ever seen that in February.

I'll be there Saturday or Sunday to pre fish.
Going to try some different stuff.

I may be there Saturday a.m. Depends on what I find Thursday at Spring Bayou.

Let me know if you are there and I'll post back if we get on some fish.

Are you fishing the tournament at the end of the month?

No plans to, but if someone needs a partner, I might. I can only compete if my deep swim bait pattern is on. Otherwise, I just catch bank runners on Rapalas.

Fished wacky senkos back in December.

Didn't catch shite.

Like, not even a nibble.

I thought about pre fishing a swim bait and see what's up.
Best catches I've made there are on worms and flukes though.

Fished a few years ago while they were having a tourney that weekend.
Caught 17 pounds and 12 won the tourney.
I hate fishing tournaments but my buddies partner dropped out, so here I am....

I'll be thinking of my vacation at Toledo next month the whole time.....

I have got to make it there at least once when the perch are shallow.

Killed them at 1215 a few years.
The most big White Perch I've caught in one trip.

The only time I caught any was up there. My friend from Ville Platte(who I'll be fishing with Saturday) told me to get up front and look for boats. Didn't see any for a while, then saw about 40 in the area of about 1/2 football field

Chicken Coop or 1215?

My buddy fished shiners and I fished Road Runners. Limited in a few hours.

Honestly I'd rather fish bass every time I'm at Toledo.
