I have read that it may be too large for pocket carry (unless in a jacket or something), at least its right on that line.

so what is a good holster for me? i usually will wear jeans with a tucked in shirt, what kind of options do I have?

Is there any particular reason for this selection? You're moving from a polymer-framed striker-fired gun to a metal-frame, single-action-only, hammer-fired gun with a manual safety. They are two entirely different batteries of arms.

If you both don't already own a full sized 9mm I would highly advise you get one. They are exponentially easier to shoot than these tiny carry guns.

I have a couple full size pistols, but the nano is the only thing I have that I can conceal carry

I like the single action p938 and want to carry it, but for now my only option is to carry this nano, I dont really like it that much, but its what i have to work with.

No offense, but you already own the gun --- and you're "reading" to see if it's too big to be carried in a pocket??

Well to atleast try and answer your question, you have quite a few routes and options that will work for that gun.

Yes that gun is on the large side for a pocket carry so it starts to limit you to an inside waist band holster. Tucking in can be a little tricky but I've done it with the right shirts and holster combo. You can make a personal decision on where you want to carry be it in the appendix position or 3-4 o'clock range with both having their pros and cons. Appendix pros is that it often conceals much better as you don't have to worry about shirts riding up when you bend over and you have a better control over the firearm as it is right in front of you, in your plane of sight and area of control. Cons is that it isn't always quite as comfortable as 3-4 o'clock and some people have a fear of pointing the gun at your junk. Pros and cons of 3-4 o'clock carry are almost exact opposites of pros and cons of appendix a little bit more comfortable but a little a less concealable as you have to be mindful of shirt riding up and exposing your gun or printing the grip.

Moving on from positions, if deciding to carry in 3-4 o'clock you have choices of material. The hybrid design has been all the rage in terms of comfort and concealability having the nice big leather backing to disperse pressure but the locking retention of a kydex holster. If going that route you have lots of different options and if you want a good holster for the money alien gear would be tough to beat. Some people consider crossbreed too expensive but they are also a very quality holster.

In the appendix region of carry I often reccomend all kydex because it reduces the amount of realestate up there to be poking around. It's going to be a little tougher to find an appendix rig for that gun as it is less popular than some options from the big three but I guarantee it can be found if that is the route you choose in going. I think I have seen some holsters from berretta that they make but I cannot speak on behalf of their quality.

May have been more info than you were looking for but figured I would atleast try to answer your question or atleast show you some options

i dont really see what you are getting at, i dont have a holster for it for pocket carry right now, so i havent carried it in my pocket, thats why im asking about a holster so i can figure out if it is comfortable for me to carry on a daily basis in my pocket, but i have read that it is not

if i decide that it is too uncomfortable to carry in my pocket, then i am looking for other holster recommendations for a tucked in shirt and jeans...

I think i will be most comfortable, at least for now in the 4 o clock position

It won't necessarily be a problem of being uncomfortable in your pocket. It's just that printing will be an issue with a gun that size. Especialy in tight fitting jeans. Also they tend to be a little heavy for pocket carry.

Yeah I think the alien gear option is called Cloak tuck. Although I admit it isn't the easiest thing in the world to tuck in my 19 in my crossbreed holster and I would much rather just walk around untucked it can be done and I've done it on occasions when I am wearing jeans and a dress shirt. Depending on the type of clips alien gear offers the only thing still visible is the clip over your belt.

When you described shirttail tucked in, I presumed (erroneously) that you were looking for an IWB holster.

I refrained from criticizing the Nano since you said you were getting a SIG.

And I refrained from criticizing the 938 since you've already decided you're not going to (willing to) carry a bigger pistol.
