Anyone care to recommend some tires for a 2WD silverado?

My tires are about done & I need some new ones. I only have 2WD but I do find my self in muddy conditions sometimes. Mainly I want something that will last a long time and not break the bank. Also, is it cheaper to buy online and then get them installed at a wal-mart or sams in town or is it best to just to to a Tire Kingdom or something like that?

I just put some Cooper Discoverer AT's on my Tundra and I like them so far. I think they were around $150/tire.
Before that I had some Mickey Thompson Baja STZ's that lasted 50K miles and were also pretty good; these were also about $150/tire.

I would keep an eye on craigslist and FB marketplace for some take-offs. I can usually find a full set of 17" or 18" aluminum alloy wheels with new or near new AT tires for around $600, sometimes cheaper.
If you're dead set on ordering new tires, TireRack.com often has good prices. My last set of new AT's were Firestone Destination ATs and I was pleased. Think I had around 40K on them before I totaled the truck and they had plenty of life left. They weren't too expensive either and were quiet.

I have Bridgestone Duelers on my 2wd Silverado. They've been great. Finally needing a new set after 65k miles. I will probably go with the same.
