Have a small piece of family Property up there. Heard that area is decent for deer. Probably driving up after the season to check it out.

It's only 30 acres. But I'm thinking about maybe putting a couple stands on it and a camp and finding some additional area to lease if possible

I'm in okc which is about 2 hours from there. Would be more than happy to keep an eye on it for you... And thin your doe population.

Deer hunting is pretty damn good, but the turkeys are out of this world!

got a bunch of guys i played ball with in college from that area. they hunt a good bit. probably have some deer on it.... i'd go check it out first before putting money into it though. go to shreveport, turn north in either marshall or longview, then through paris tx and hit the indian nation turnpike, can't miss it.

good luc

That area can be outstanding if your property lays out right. The ammunition area is a Mecca. Put your corn on the ground ( no feeder) and see what your camera shows you.

Looks like it's 30 acres of woods with some pasture in about a 4-500 block of timber and pasture

Put out as much feed on the ground as you can to gather pics of your deer. Basicaly, take inventory. There are some monsters up there, but they don't come easy.
