I like it. I just got back to the house after a weekend of camping and boating at a lake. We have nothing to cook, so I am throwing some red hots and brats on the grill.

yea its just me and Peg at home so when I get a brisket on sale I cut it up. This one made the flat end for the pit and 3 roast for pot roasting from the thick end
Scored the pork strips for 88 cent a lb and the weenies too.

Yessir, fired up my BGE cheap arse knock off. Did some wild hog and deer ribs, some horrible apple smoked chicken sausage nonsense my mom came home with, and some venison burgers for the wife and kids. Finished the ribs in the pressure cooker.
Everything came out great. It was indeed a beautiful weekend.

Burgers, dogs, and some corn. Maybe one or two, or 8 Miller lites this afternoon.
Inflated the bounce house thing and had some friends over. Good afternoon indeed.
ETA about to put in a big pinch to start picking up everything outside.

My wife caught a stringer of mule trout yesterday at Chandeleur Islands with Thoephile Bourgeois. Went out on his float plane.
So I cooked Southern green beans from my garden with snap beans, onions and potatoes also from my garden and two ham hocks.
Shrimp remoulade with Tony's boiled shrimp and homemade remoulade sauce.
Big trout filets amandine my wife made to go with it and a nice 2010 Shypoke Rose .
All done outside and what a great afternoon /evening it was.
