If so, what do you have? I see Stag and Rock River make lefty rifles, but are those the only ones?

Im a lefty, ambi mag release and safety is all I need.
I'd love a knights lower.
For the mag release go with Norgon, safety whatever your flavor.

I'm a lefty. I agree the ambi safety is all that is required.

I was in the Marine Corps and shot the M-16 on a regular basis, but was really wanting the left side eject.

I have a left handed stag. I think those were the only two when I bought mine.

I'm a southpaw with long guns and never had a problem using the standard configuration. I never use safeties but see how an ambi would be easier if used. As for the mag release, use the thumb of your right hand to push the release as you remove the magazine. This gives you the advantage of only needing one hand to change mags, like paddle mag releases accomplish on AKs and such.

Do you lefties find it difficult to manipulate the bolt release on a right handed AR?
I only use the bolt release if clearing a malfunction and rack the charging handle when changing mags. But I can see it being a PITA for a lefty.

Get a Tavor or find an FN FS 2000.

I just operate the bolt release and the safety with my index finger. The mag release is the only challenge.

This is my configuration.
Norgon Ambi Mag Release
BAD-arse safety selector
Magpul Bad Lever
Bravo Company Ambi Charging Handle
I've run at least a few thousand rounds through it and am just as fast as the righties.

I don't like how the Stag version has a reversed dust cover.
The Rock River lefty is entirely ambidextrous. Even the twist in the barrel is left!
EDIT: I see the benefit of it after thinking about it - retains the use of a standard lower with a left-ejecting upper. Makes sense.

Ya know, there are a lot of left-handed people in the military. And they do just fine with a "regular" rifle.
You can always add an ambi charging handle, and ambi safety, etc. as enhancements. But there's no need to go looking for a left handed AR.
p.s. I shoot long guns left handed - always have.

I'm left handed and use a regular AR. I've simply adjusted to use it as needed. For instance I'll rotate my thumb around the pistol grip to manipulate the safety to fire but use my index finger to rotate back to safe. I've had no issues using my non-dominate hand to release magazines and I'll use my left index finger to release the bolt. I actually think I wouldn't know what to do if you handed me a left handed AR.

I was in the Marines for 4 years and the LA National Guard for 5. I know the M-16 like the back of my hand, however if I'm going to build one I think I want to build a LH version. I want to personalize it.
