Heading down Thursday afternoon for a weekender, I know we're looking at some wind Saturday and a rainy Sunday. I've been seeing limits from Delacroix almost daily the past 2 weeks but haven't heard much from the island...Definitely bringing enough Blue Ribbons to keep us happy but I'd like to catch some fish while we're down there. Any spots in particular we should be checking out this time of year?
TIA

I'm no winter time salt water guru, but I would head north from the island. Fwiw I will be north.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of, I'll be passing em up on the drive out. May come back in on Saturday and try out Little Lake. Fished for about an hour last week before the sun went down off the jetty and caught 18 specks. Wasn't slamming but it was enough action to be worth it.

Seems like a short drive to golden meadow would be your best bet, but I am a Venice guy not a GI guy. Just know historically that's the place to be this time of year.
