Put 50 in the boat . First time going to the Bay LaFourche/Oak River bay area.
Had an incoming tide and 5mph ne wind. They hit live shrimp, Shrimp creole/Lemonhead matrix shad , and green sparkle beetles under a cork. 5 trout in the 17-19 range.

Going tomorrow. Caught a ton of small trout in 4 horse on Friday. Don't want your honey holes just general areas. Twin Pipeline area, 4 horse/lake campo?

Went Saturday and fished the areas you mentioned. Caught 16 nice specks before the wind picked up and the tide started ripping. hopefully the water isn't too dirty. Good luck

I just read this post without looking at the handle and thought that sounded very similar to what we did.

Pulled 17 trout from this spot last week. Head down oak river. Up the twin pipeline, cross lost flat bay and go a little farther before branville bay and fish in the pipeline. If the water stays clean there should be fish there.

Picked up about 25 near the twin pipeline and grand point bay. On Saturday and then the wind happened.

Everyone knows this but must find clean water and you have a chance

Get away from the dink trout in the pipeline. Go hit bays and toss topwater and suspending jerk baits. If you find lots of mullet, trout will be there. Hit areas like amadee, Lena lagoon, grand lake, bays of oak river, etc
