I don't really hunt them, but I shoot them when they come in my back yard.

I buy about a 1500 coons a year to sell for meat. They all come from up north and are shipped here where I distribute them. The pelt price is so low when I trap them I have just started letting them go.

Have a Kemmer Cur/feist cross. Shes only 25 lbs but will fight anything on 4 legs. She will chew the bark off a tree to get to a coon.

She doesnt run deep. Only ranges 50-75 yards but listens good.

She would be the perfect dog if she wasn't gun shy.

What are they?

I have a pretty sweet video somewhere of my buddy's dogs locked down. I'll have to remember how the hell to find it.

Cool. I had a half plott for a while. Awesome dogs. Where'd they come from?

I'll post a few videos when I get back to the office tomorrow if I remember.

Don't hunt.

Just shop.

It's called modern civilization.

Get a job and a car and a driver's license and stop chewing tobacco.

You asking where the plott comes from or those two dogs? The plott isn't registered and the guy I bought it off of beat the hell out it I guess cause she was shy as hell. The blue tick is it out of grand night champion she is kinda o mountain dog long, lean, and tall. At the moment the daddy's name isn't coming too me but when I get a chance I will post a pic if her papers

Those long legged dogs can get out quick. Blueticks are fine dogs I love a good full grown bluetick gyp.

It's a shame more people don't like coon hunting down here. It kinda sucks because summer nights are so hot and it's hard to get out of the snakes and mosquitoes. On a cold clear winter night nothing sounds better than that big locate followed by a hard chop.

I love being in the woods at night.

I went a few times with an old friend of mine who's since gone on, was fun for sure. Dad used to run coyotes on the outside. The few times I went that was much fun, too. I miss hearing a good race, in the deer woods and varmint running.

I have a couple of younger cousins that used to go all over hunting their dogs just a few years back.

One of them has been offered and sold dogs for $1000s after winning multiple events.

It's mind blowing what a good dog will sell for.
