I'm looking for a boat launch on the north side to launch my boat. I want to see if there is any good bowfishing for reds anywhere around there. Any help appreciated!

North end of Hwy 11, launch is right at the base of the bridge.
They also have launches in Mandeville, Madisonville, Lacombe off 434, and the Rigolets.
Are you looking for something in a certain area?

Launch Dockside, head west along Carr DR.,at the end of Carr DR. there's some nice shallow marsh that holds a bunch of reds. LINK

Any areas you like for bowfishing reds by the rigolets?

Not Really unless you try the marshes on the North Side of the Rigolets on your way out towards the L&N train bridge. West pearl has some good redfishing as well but not rea sure if clear enough or shallow enough for bowfishing.
My two favorite Bowfishing areas over that way are the marshes & Bayou Bienvenue between the ICW and MRGO and the marshes just to the north of Alligator Bend, right off the ICW by Bayou Platte.

Completely agree with this.
Also some good bass fishing back there if you are into that sort of thing.

Peavine is the closest to Baton Rouge, but then you have a longer boat ride...
For a good meal after a day of fishing, there are several good restaurants next to the launch.

I always Bass fish in Carr DR, Neighborhood. You saying there's good bass fishing around the back side of the neighborhood?
============================
Absolutely, however I moved out of Slidell over 10 years ago so things may have changed since then.
I had good luck in the neighborhood ( dead end canals) during the early spring. Found they liked to bed in the sandy bottoms back there.
On the marsh side of Carr drive I caught bass in the main canal and also back in the marsh. Especially on a falling tide were the ponds were draining into the main canal. Found the bite was great during the summer at dawn/dusk. Mostly just working the grass line and drains / mouths of ponds. Also noticed that I always did better fishing the 'marsh' side of the main canal compared to fishing the docks.
My go to baits were a small buzz bait or a medium sized black and yellow beetle spin. If they didn't want either of those baits a dark colored ribbon tailed work worked weightless and slow usually did the trick.

Oh and other thing to keep in mind, I'm in an18ft boat with 18in sides.. So I can't run open water for long, has to be pretty calm. Does it get wavy along Carr dr.? I'm in a PRODRIVE if that helps explain what I can run it.

I don't think waves will be an issue back in the marsh around Carr Drive. If you launch at 11, the run from there to the canal could be interesting depending on which way the wind is blowing but once you get in the canals/marsh you should be fine.

he can launch at the old Tites on HWY.11,Run North, cross under the train track bridge into the marsh north of the canal if his boat is a mud boat.

This won't help with the OP, as there isn't one on the north shore listed. But I'm just throwing it out there for those who may have use for it, and haven't seen it before.
Launch Locator
Edit: There are two listings for Lake Pontchartrain and one of them does have north shore listings complete with photos

Yea, the marsh wont give me any problems, its just the ride past carr dr and back! It is a mudmotor, but i can run about 24 with the bowfishing setup on it and 4 people. I just know how choppy it looks sometimes. And........NO FLOTATION! so it could get interesting if i get out there on a calm night and the winds pick up while fishing.
