Anti-gun legislator arrested for carrying gun to airport...

Not sure if this should go on the political board or not? But we all value our gun rights here on the OB. Look at the hypocrisy of this legislator. LINK

Thanks, GS! Didn't realize you or someone else had already posted it. Still burns me up, though.

no big deal. i deleted it earlier. of course he is upstanding, he is running for jessie jackson jr's seat. who by the way got RE-frickING-ELECTED when he hadn't been in office in 6 months
quote:

A couple weeks after his constituents re-elected him despite being away from Congress for nearly six months and not giving a single re-election speech, Chicago Democrat Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned from Congress Wednesday

quote:

A letter of resignation from Jackson, who is bipolar and beset by rumors of extramarital affairs, a campaign spending investigation and an ethics s candal, was received by Speaker John Boehner’s office, according to the report

quote:

Finally, in early September, Jackson returned his home in Washington D.C., however he never returned to work and despite being re-elected in a landslide, the congressman never spoke to his constituents in public. Jackson missed over 200 votes in the House this year prior to the elections and last voted on June 8

you have no idea how mad this makes me. im leaving this thread now before i get sent to ban land
