I just went through my personal armory and checked everything. I have to admit that I am generally pretty slack in keeping my weaponry in ready to go status. I loaded several 30 rd mags for the AR and a few other weapons that I maintain in the house.

I keep a Glock 23 ready to go all the time. The rest, is generally locked up and unloaded. Probably not a good idea.

You never know when TSHTF and you will need to be ready to go in a hurry. Living in central Florida, it is a real possibility for civil unrest or a natural disaster.

I now have my AR with a few hundred rounds loaded in mags, a 12 gauge, a 38 and a 10-22 with three 25 round mags.

Florida is very unstable both socially and politically. Back in the 90's when Hurricane Andrew came through Homestead, I heard stories of widespread looters and just plain robberies of this who where unable to defend themselves.

I couldn't imagine being in that situation. It must be horrible.

Hey, I have what I have. The AR, Glock 23 and the 12 gauge would do some damage.

Did you see those crowds? Buckshot man, buckshot. They'll be heading for the hills after they hear the 2nd shot.
