Surprised the PX4 is number 1. It's a decent gun but I never thought it was exceptional, especially for carry.

Glcok 19 and Shield are no surprise though.

There is no ranking. These 5 are pretty much equals. Also not specific to a carry weapon. This is the link:

I have the P320 and love it. Will probably have a shield at some point.

Wait so this isn't the number of holsters they've sold for each gun? I think they would have their answer for the top carry guns by that statistic alone.

EDIT: I definitely disagree with their list. If they're going to include the LE-popular glock 17, why not include the military sidearm Beretta 92? They don't have much rhyme or reason to that list...

I own a holster for my PX4, but I don't "carry."

Just ordered a shield for me and the wife, looking forward to putting some rounds thru it.

Hopefully it was removed from the list because of its absolutely god awful trigger.

That was my primary weapon after the Army nixed the 1911. I didn't find the trigger that horrendous.

If I can include the SR9c then I have 3 out of 5 also. I used to have the LC9 too.

If she's not super familiar with handguns, I would let her learn on a full sized 9mm first. It will beat her hands up a lot less. The first two hurdles for new shooters are the noise and the felt recoil. If you start her on something snappy it will scare her from shooting anything else because she'll think they're all the same. If you have a full sized 22 that would be even better.

If she's already familiar with shooting, then carry on.

top five 9mms

List is crap! It should be this:
Glock 19
Glock 17
Glock 34
Glock 26
Glock 43

I kid I kid... Seems like the Sig 226 should be on there

I agree.

I would think the 3 most common 9mms are the Beretta 92, the Glock 17, and the Sig 226. Kind of dumb for them to gloss over 2 proven designs...

Yeah that should be on there as well... And no browning hi power??

Btw bapple... I got my hands on a 43. If you want to shoot it sometime let me know. I haven't even had a chance to shoot it yet
