ACADEMY shoppers - empty shelves?

I went to the one in Covington two days before Christmas and it was near empty from the last minute Christmas shopping rush. How soon do you think it will be restocked with guns, hunting, rods and reels?

The one by me is out of stock all the time of rods, matrix shad, boat gps etc.
I know there is no shortage of spinning rods and matrix shad because I can order any type of rod and any color of matrix shad online. It's year round though.

It was still out yesterday. Looked like they had plenty of guns though.

They will probably not restock hunting items. Guns and rods should be in the next week or two.

The store in Thibodaux has had bare shelves since it opened. So I don't really shop there anymore.

Make the drive to Sportsman's Warehouse in Slidell. You'll never go to Academy again after walking in that place for your firearms and hunting and fishing needs.
It's in the old Schwegmann's, next to Rouses, off the Gause Blvd exit.
Their prices are usually as good or better than Academy also.

The one in Alexandria is usually stocked well. Went in last night was bare. Every thing from clothes to hunting and fishing was non existent. Last minute shoppers wore it out. Will be restocked within a week if I had to guess.

I'd like to try that place in Slidell but the "problem" is I have like $300 in Academy gift cards from Christmas that I need to use. Seems like the one in Covington is always bare...kinda pisses me off.
