Cabela's has their spring fishing sale and the Revo's are at a great price if anyone is interested. I am a Shimano guy myself but interested to hear from those who like the Revo line.

I have an orra Inshore. I've got no complaints after 3 years. I would imagine the revo is even better.

That tournament lite at 109 is a steal.

I hope there's all of these good sales when I go back to work. Them SX reels are the tits for the money.

Stx gen 3 on ebay brand new 118. Getem while you can. This is a 200 dollar real and worth every penny. Probably the strongest drag on any of the reels out

Got a brand new stx on eBay for $94 shipped. Can't go wrong with a revo.

Thanks for the heads up.
Just nabbed two of the STX's.
This board has become my wallets No.1 enemy

On the bottom right of the linked page, why would the $160 Wright & McGill Spinning reel be marked down to $60?
Does the carbon parts not holdup? Not good for saltwater? Odd size (4000) because most people I seem to notice use 2000 - 3000?
And thoughts on the Lew's brand, both spinning and bait casting. I have a Lew's Lazer I picked up on clearance at Academy and I like it more than my Ambassadeur S and am curious about their higher end and spinning reels.
OB, please help me spend my money!!

I've got 3 revos. They're super legit.
They throw smoother and farther than any other reel I have including shimano curados and calcuttas. I was dumbfounded after I bought the first one under a buddy's recommendation. I bought the next 2 within the year.
Eta: Maybe I need another since they're on sale...

I may just stop at Cabelas and get one to test against my Curados and Citicas just to see. I've fished nothing but Shimano since I was a kid. I could be missing out.
