had a feeling when we bought the house that it had never been cleaned.

Mine gets like this in a years time. I live close to a major Hwy and I think it brings in extra dirt

They make screens that slip over the coils, might help.

didn't see any wasps last week.
but the first cleaning a nest was twice the size and i cleaned it during may.
house was a foreclosure and had them everywhere.
it sits on lava rocks so i killed a couple of weeds and an extra few feet of grass around that. threw down some pre-emergent so i won't be mowing close to the unit.
