Just remember hog population can double in 4 months. My friends are having problems with them in the marsh areas.

Louisiana had better get a handle on these damn things quick or we are gonna be in big trouble (if we aren't already).

I'm getting close to 40 and these things have been around for as long as I can remember.

what are the laws in LA for hunting hogs? Season? Weapon? License? Time of day?

I have soccer practice with a federal wildlife agent tonight, i'll get the definitive answer as I know there's been a lot of people asking this question lately.

One sow can be responsible for making a thousand hogs in something like five years.

Kill every last one of these things because if you don't, you will definitely regret it. They've been tearing up our roads bigtime and I can't find a deer to save my life now.

HOGS MUST DIE.

Not to mention, it's damn fun.

yeah it is but they need to be taken out.

this land is on the tickfaw river. a lot of hardwood lowland with plenty of sloughs.

i am looking for new designs for traps. we are also going to try a few different things in the spring to make stand hunting easier.

They're already bad in an area here in SWLA. They've gone nocternal too because of the pressure put on them.

it's understated how smart those bastards really are. we have trapped and hunted them for years, learned different tricks to bag them but always trying to learn more.

Yeah but they want you to do it with a .22 or a shotgun unless you can get an exemption.

That hog I shot last week would have laughed his arse off if you shot him with a .22 and then killed your arse for being an idiot.
