What are y'all using to load up your mags?

I've seen some videos where a guy made a jig out of wood to assist loading them.

Personally, I just like to load them one by one and make sure they are all seated in the mag correctly.

I don't go to the range and just burn through powder though. I rarely dump a mag unless I'm trying to impress one of my son's punk buddies.

With prices and availability like they have been I typically load single shot to minimize the pain I feel. I doubt we get into any Mogadishu moments here any time soon. My BIL used to have a homemade wooden loader that was pretty slick he got the plans off the google.

Why? They literally just push in. You don't even have to slide them in like a pistol magazine.

That being said, this tool is impressive.

Wow - I just figure they would be harder to load than my 9mm magazines.

One time I bought like 20 mags and made my 3 kids and one of their friends load by hand. Worked well.

If you need anything else, then you should consider another hobby.

By definition a hobby is an activity you may complete in your free time that brings you pleasure.

Just because you dress up like an operator on your off time and practice clearing rooms, like it will play any significant part in a real life situation, does not make it any less of a hobby.

So, it most likely is a hobby to someone that is having trouble loading magazines by hand

ETA: Not to mention this is being discussed on a board devoted to outdoor hobbies.

Not remotely. I have a loader for 9mm, don't use one for 5.56.

I 3D print mine. These are 10rd loaders. I could go bigger, but these fit easily in a bag and there really isn't much to gain by going big. Maybe 15, but I have printed some 30rd curved before and ran into spacing and clearance issues.

I also print these for my Glocks and PSA 9MM
