We have recently moved and are unable to keep our full-blooded chocolate lab. He has been cut but does follow basic commands and hes good with kids. Has not been trained for hunting but is not gun shy and retrieves well. My in-laws are unable to keep him and Id rather give him to someone that has more time for him. If you or someone you know is interested, email me

Admins I apologize if this is not allowed and please remove if so. Just know the OB is full of good members and would take care of him. Thanks.

It blows my mind when people do this. I'd live under a bridge before I gave up my dog

Well you are not in the same circumstance as I am. Its not easy but its not fair to him at the same time.

while I agree with hammertime I also commend you taking the effort to place him. That's how i got our bloodhound (previous owners couldn't keep him) and I am so thankful
make it your mission to do right by him no matter the cost and you'll be ok in my book

Thats what im trying to do. We couldnt find anywhere that allowed pets where we are now. It was hard leaving him at my inlaws. They work a lot as well and I know hes not getting the attention he deserves. Felt like shite for leaving him but its in the best interest of my family at this time.

understand that 5 yrs old is going to be a tough sell
you might get five more good years out of him before the vet bills start piling up
