First air combat for navy tomcats. And Ronnie R serving notice to the world he was no jimmy carter....
6 years later I was not too far away when I witnessed another more infamous tomcat air victory.........

Jimmy carter sure didn't he banned navy from operating in gulf of Sidra, as a proud member of the gulf of Sidra yacht club, ole Ronnie dared moamar to test our resolve. Libya lost every time. Even the mighty fox bats turned around every time tomcats took offensive positions.
