now he just has to wait two years for the prize, right?

that has got to suck, hopefully someone else doesnt beat him, highly unlikely, but I would be nervous

I'm not big on scoring racks, but that rack doesn't look THAT large. It's got a lot of points, but I've seen pics of bucks that have way more mass.

Agreed. James McMurray killed his monster non-typical not far from where I grew up in North La...my first thought when I saw his deer was "shite that's an ugly deer."

It was probably inbred. I know that's how they make a lot of the 400" freaks in breeding operations. Or at least used to.

And I agree with the other post, gimme a big typical over that any day.

Never thought there could have been a World Record whitetail with just a 14" inside spread.

I agree... I'm actually really really surprised it got the record. It's not that impressive (considering) IMO..

My boss has this hanging on his wall and I think he said it scored in the upper 290's.

Those deer are close to the same size. But if its free range like all B&C have to be then that's a record somewhere. If its another genetically modified fence deer then its not.

Wonder how much Under armor is going to pay him since he was wearing that hat.
