1 power poke with an Ipilot will be the perfect combo

I had to double check when I got to work this morning to be sure I remembered this right.
If battery life is a big concern and your 24V isn't cutting it, you can wire it up for 4 batteries at 24v to double your juice capacity.
It's pretty much paralleling two sets of series 12v batteries. It gives you a $150 solution rather than going buy a bigger 36v trolling motor.

yes, you double your Amps if using the same batteries.

I have an 18' fishmaster with the 70 lb thrust if its too windy the trolling motor may struggle to make head way but will keep you in position. I have never had battery issues though.

Buddy of mine has a 24v 80lb on a 22' glass bay boat, and he says it is plenty for the boat.

My 24v 80lb will last me all day with 2 batteries

We use our anchor lock on our 22'bayboat with 24v 80# iPilot and I've never run out of juice.

Having 5 batteries in a 22ft aluminum boat is never a solution.
Pops just got an Ipilot. Said he loves it so far...and no more anchor bitch for me!

Should have spent the additional $200-300 and gotten the iPilot. Very happy with the autopilot but the iPilot would be handy.

IPilot I will say is worth the money!! Like the above post the anchor mode is sweet.

All the regular riptide owners are hoping it breaks so they can upgrade to iPilot, lol.
