Were running high on supplies up here finally at Cabelas Bass Pro and some locals.
No Academy though. I hate to think next week with the election that the panic buyers will fuq it up.

Thanks baw.
Thats nice to hear that someone stepped up
And popped some WMR's through one for a change. Im one of those that just kept throwing LR'S down range and was to lazy to change up.

Not a revolver

same but I have a sweet shooting browning challenger 2...got it at Steinberg's old St Phillips store during one of their "no interest" sales...
the gunsmith ported the ramp down where it shoots as fast as I can pull the trigger...

accurate lil gun and fun to shoot...

Mine gets used to kill shite very often. Coons are tough as nails and the difference between high velocity LR out of a handgun and .22 magnum out of a handgun is significant. The magnum kills coons with authority out the tops of big oaks and the gun is accurate enough to do it reliably. No LR out of my semi auto pistol could ever do that; it always took 3 or 4 or more hits to knock them down and they had plenty fight when the landed sometimes. They hit the ground dead with the mag.

Neither does it as well as a .22LR out of an actual rifle, but anybody who's ever lugged a rifle out on a coon hunt knows how much it sucks. The gun gets beat to hell and leading an 80 pound wound up dog around with one free hand is way worse than doing it with two.

I bought a leather 25 round gun belt and a leather holster and riveted the holster to the belt to keep it in place without having to tie it to my thigh. It's the perfect setup for what I do.

I honestly don't know anyone who uses the mag cylinder myself.

I have a s&w 617 4" that Clark custom did their action job on. That's the sweetest little 22 revolver I've ever seen.

617's are tough built quality revolvers.
I have 1 with at least 100k rounds through it without a hiccup.

MY S&W 422 and Buckmark see the most use, an old Iver Johnson 8 shot revolver is my fave though.

I have an Iver Johnson Sealed 8.
Was the first 22 I bought as a kid.
i paid 25 bucks for it and it is mint.

The made some great affordable pistols in their day.

Heritage rough rider. Say what you want about the finish or quality, I've shot it more than any other gun I own and it's just fun to shoot.

I love my H&R Sportsman 999. Great little .22 revolver.
Have one too, I love it. I've shot absolutely everything out of it, cheapest possible ammo, works fine. I have the topbreak model, old as heck. I mention this, because I think I've seen some sideloaders called Sportsman.

Also have a High Standard Sport King, a Ruger Mk II, and a S&W 22a. All very accurate, but I think the old revolver tops them for fun, and doesn't give up much (if any) on accuracy.

My dad had a High Standard 22lr/22 magnum revolver, as pretty a revolver as I've laid eyes on. My brother called dibs after I took the Mauser.
