Just leveled my truck and want to put Toyo AT2 tires on the stock rims. I'm thinking 285/65/20 or 295/60/20.

Anybody have a recommendation on the best size/look?

looking to do this myself without having to much of a lift look. Why did you go with the 2.5 over the 3/1 leveling kit?

I purchased the Rough Country 2.5 - 3" kit with the 1.5" rear blocks. It wasn't hard to do so I just installed the main strut extension which was 2.5". Figured I could always add the other two strut shims and the rear blocks later if I wanted higher.

I think I am running Toyo open Country RT LT285/55R20 on the stock rims. I have the pro comp shocks leveled 2.5 inches.

My tundra isn't leveled yet but I put 275/75/18 cooper st Maxx's on mine and it looks so much better already I'm considering not even doing the level. They come out to about 33.5 inches. I didn't want to go any bigger and lose more gas mileage. To me the compromise was worth it.

I put on 35x11.50r20 ridge grapplers last week.

To lift it I put 5100s to the highest setting, 2 cb shims up front and a 2" cb shackle in the back.

At first I thought it was a terrible mistake, my shifting was all weird and it felt like I lost a ton of power. I added the hypertech speedometer calibrator and it drives like it did with stock tires. I cant feel any loss of power and it corrected my speed/odo. I get 15.5 mpg now. Thats what I got before, but a lot of people say the speedometer is off a few mph from the factory (that would make the mpgs wrong too) so it may have been a little better.

ETA: Tires are super quiet, they don't really add to the road noise. Ride is stiffer, but they are E rated.

I assume my mpg was correct from factory but speedometer was off a couple mph based on multiple gps checks. After putting my 33" tires on, the speedometer matches the gps now.

I dont think thats possible. I believe they are all tied together. If your speedo is off, your mpg will be off. I could be wrong though.

Dave your truck looks great & that's what I'm planning on doing to mine in the future. I'm new to the truck world as I have only owned SUV's (4runners) in the past. I am like a newborn when it comes to 4wd & levels & lifts and all the glory that you can do to your truck. I assume you are speaking of the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks? If so I had been pondering these so it's good to get feedback on them. I've only got 600 miles on my truck right now so my guage is only showing I get 13mpg. I've also pondered getting my OEM wheels powder coated a gun metal or glossy black color. Has anyone done this?

I've read on other websites the Tundras come like mine with speedometer a couple mph high. It wasn't much. Either way, my new tires are only 3% larger so it's not off by much.

The new tundras that come with BFG ATs are 285s. The trucks aren't leveled either.
