2016 tax free weekend still happening?

called a dealer about a motor and the salesman told me heard the tax free weekend wasn't going to happen this year? Anybody know if this is true or heard otherwise?
This website says Sep 3-5 for firearms, ammo, and hunting supplies. Not sure if a motor used for hunting would fall under "hunting supplies"
LA Dept of Revenue says Aug 5-6 (only a 2% exemption up to $2500)

yea even if the la dept of revenue site is correct the wait isn't worth it
