Had 6.2 gas.
Have 6.7 diesel.

i agree the 2.7 is rather small and a dumb idea, but for someone who doesnt tow or need to haul heavy load the engine is good i guess...

I've owned the 5.0 in my 2012 and i loved it. it pulled great and got decent mpg..nothing to brag about. avg about 15

I now own an 2014 ecoboost fx4. Night and day different on engine power response. It has way more go then the 5.0 but i miss the 5.0 sound. I also get way better mpg. i average about 18 or so and get 20-21 on hwy. It also pulls better then the 5.0 in my opinion. but hey both are great engines. i would buy another 5.0 if i could,i got a good deal and i have been impressed with the ecoboost.

If I wanted fuel economy I would have bought a Prius - who gives a crap..

i totally agree with you on that, i dont understand the big deal with mpg and trucks. idc what my truck gets really i use it to pull and haul stuff.
