Completely my bad. Just don't think about snapping an OB pic until it's too late. For further proof, here's a pic in the woods this morning with me and my pop. 79 years old and still going strong!!

Did fire a shot. Dam woodies landed right out of range this morning.

On a side note. Had a first for me hunting the area I was at. Had a big band of mallards flying just above tree top that came over me. Only had a wood duck call. Blew it and I had the mallards circling. They circled 6 times and then went there way.

I'm going to bring other decoys and calls next trip just for the hell of it.

Ya we hunt the White River, Cache River and Bayou Meto plus a few others. Went to the metro yesterday and saw ONE mallard. Found those ducks on the Cache yesterday afternoon. Cache is flooding now and White will be by the weekend. Once they find it it's usually fantastic.

We're always willing to take people. All you need is a boat, and we can do it. BM has a 25 restriction plus a lot of other goofy rules.

We have people come up from LA all the time and usually have good hunts.

It's a good thing we're both team Gadwall. Capt ST will be north bound real soon.

Mach, what part of the Cache do you hunt. I've never hunted it, but I have family that lives very close to the overflow up around Grubbs. Do you make it that far up?

We've been hunting around Clarenden the last few days. We did lease land around Grubbs years ago. Never hunted the Cache up that far. Our camp is on the White River on Maddox Bay. We try to hunt around that area if we can.

Alright, We have some land up there just west of Jonesboro, but never have hunted it. Mostly plant it for soybeans. The years that we've done rice we haven't had time to get up there to hunt. Grew up hunting Felsenthal, but haven't been able to get up there in years.

Duck season finally open up here on Friday. I went and scouted this morning. Wood ducks errywhere! I probably saw 200 or more, but not another bird to be found.
